Inverters / VFD

Single-phase VFD — 220V in, 220V three-phase out for delta-connected motors. Example: 0.75 kW / 220V.

Three-phase VFD — 380V in on R/S/T, 380V out on U/V/W.

Functions: frequency speed control, FWD/REV from keypad or terminals, multi-speed, analog VI 0–10V / CI 4–20mA, PID (pressure / flow / temperature), Modbus-RTU on RS485.

On 0–50 Hz, torque falls as frequency falls. On 50–100 Hz, torque falls as frequency rises. Keep gear-motor inverter frequency below 60 Hz in normal service. A brake motor needs a separate 220V single-phase supply for the brake.

How to size

One inverter, one motor

Inverter kW ≥ motor kW, and inverter current ≥ 1.1 × motor current.

One inverter, many motors

Inverter kW × 1.5 ≥ the sum of motor kW.

Long low-speed running needs an inverter-duty motor with a forced fan. Flux-vector inverters hold torque better at low speed. Share a panel with a HMI only with shielded cable or line reactors.

Controllers / Dedicated Drivers

AC 220/240V 50/60 Hz. 4-pole 90–1400 rpm; XF and FP also 2-pole 180–2800 rpm. Do not use a governor for frequent reversing.

US

Economy 5-wire. Same envelope 6W–200W; capacitor changes with wattage.

SS-22

Remote potentiometer, 220/240V 50/60 Hz.

XF

Panel mount, 2-pole and 4-pole ranges.

FP

MCU display with KEY / REV / STOP / FWD.
